To whom the courses are addressed

The courses of the Istituto Toscano di Scultura are addressed to any person who wants to know the world of art both plastic and graphic in a practical manner.

Each course, infact, is a personalized experience lead by the artists on site and aimed to put in pratice the knowledge acquired during the lessons.

Timetables and accessibility

The courses start at 9:00 am and end at 6:30 pm every day. The lunch break is scheduled between 1 pm and 2:30 pm.

Every course is open to a maximum of 10/15 students and lasts 10/20 working days.

Tours and meetings

One day of teaching is dedicated to guided tours in cities with artistic treasures. In particular, Carrara and Pietrasanta and their quarries and workshops, where artisans heir to age-old traditions realize the most important sculpture works of the contemporary art: Botero. Mitoraj, Vangi and so on.

During the series of lessons, there are going to be meetings with national and international artists, and the possibility of taking part at cultural events and exhibitions.
